One dedicated carer, living in your loved one's home, 24 hours a day. Sleeping nights included. No hidden extras, no "call us for a quote" games: the price is right here.
Every live-in price on one page, no quote form needed.
Families phoning at a difficult moment deserve better than a sales process. So here is ours, in full, held for 30 days from your quotation: what it costs, what's included, and the only extras that could ever apply.
One dedicated carer, resident 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sleeping nights included. The carer's daily two-hour rest break is covered within the household routine, as most families choose.
One live-in carer supporting both partners, subject to each person's own assessment.
All packages are confirmed by a care needs assessment before care begins, so the plan fits the person, not the brochure. The household provides the carer with a private room and meals, as is standard for live-in care.
Live-in care doesn't depend on a local branch. The carer moves into the home, the assessment happens in the home, and the Registered Manager visits in person. So the question is never "do you cover my area", only "is live-in care right for this person".
Richmond upon Thames, Kingston, Wimbledon, Putney, Barnes, Kew, Teddington and Twickenham, and the Surrey towns of Esher, Cobham, Oxshott, Weybridge, Walton-on-Thames, Leatherhead and Epsom.
Bournemouth, Poole, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Branksome Park, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown and Ringwood. Our home patch, and the one area where we also provide hourly visiting care.
Hampshire, Wiltshire, Sussex, Berkshire, Kent, the rest of London, or a village with no care agency for miles. The same carer, the same price, the same manager. Call and tell us where the home is.
Send it to us. Within 24 hours we'll tell you, honestly and free of charge, whether it's fair, what's missing from it, and what the same care would cost with us. If their quote is good, we'll tell you to take it. Families remember honesty longer than brochures.
Registered with the Care Quality Commission. Live-in care across England is planned and managed from Bournemouth: every placement starts with an assessment at home, and the Registered Manager or a senior member of the team reviews it in person within six weeks and then at least every three months.
Carers recruited specifically for live-in work, most of them from London and the South, who travel to the placement and stay for the whole block. Matched to the person, with training, supervision and holiday cover handled by us.
The carer keeps daily care notes, and the family is kept up to date as things change.
We can usually assess within 48 hours of your call, and care typically begins within days, subject to availability.
You deal with a named Registered Manager, not a call centre. Direct line, straight answers.
The prices on this page are the prices. Quoted rates are held for 30 days, and the only extras that exist are listed above.
Tell us about your loved one, their needs, and your timescales. Straight answers from the first call.
A full care needs assessment in the person's home, usually within 48 hours, at no charge and with no obligation.
We match a dedicated live-in carer to the person and the household, and introduce them before care begins.
Typically within days of the assessment. The care plan is reviewed regularly and your family stays informed throughout.
Yes. One dedicated carer resident 24 hours a day, sleeping nights included, personal care, medication support, meals, housekeeping and companionship, with recruitment, training, insurance and holiday cover handled by SAL. The only possible extras are listed openly on this page: an optional relief carer, the hours a carer is awake if they are woken more than twice in a night, waking-night cover if needs change, a food allowance option, and mileage for outings. There are no other charges.
Because families deserve the number before the sales call. We publish ours and hold them for 30 days from your quotation.
Often yes, subject to each person's assessment. A couple with one shared live-in carer is £2,150 per week all-in.
Our assessed care and welfare services are normally VAT exempt when delivered as CQC-regulated personal care. We do not add VAT to the listed prices where the service qualifies as VAT exempt.
We can usually carry out the care assessment within 48 hours of your call, and care typically begins within days of the assessment, subject to carer availability and the person's needs.
A private room and three meals a day, as is standard for live-in care. If you would rather we handle food, a £45 per week food allowance can be added to the invoice.
The carer sleeps at night and is on hand if needed, included in the weekly rate. If the carer is woken more than twice in a night, that night is charged for the hours they are awake at our standard visiting rate of £38 per hour (£40 at weekends). If broken nights become the norm, we review the care plan with you straight away, which can mean a second carer or a different arrangement, so the person stays safe overnight.
Outside Dorset we provide live-in care only. Our hourly visiting care, from £38 an hour on weekdays (£40 at weekends), is available in Dorset. Every price is on our prices page, and we confirm what you need at your care assessment.
Anywhere in England. Our live-in carers travel to the placement, so it makes no difference whether the home is in Richmond, Esher, Sandbanks or a village with no care agency for miles. The areas we know well are south west London and Surrey, and the Dorset coast around Bournemouth, Poole and Canford Cliffs. Every placement is managed from Bournemouth: the assessment happens in the person's home, and the Registered Manager or a senior member of the team visits in person within six weeks and then at least every three months. Our hourly visiting care is in Dorset only.
Depending on the person's health needs, they may be entitled to NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. We can help you explore whether it applies.
Speak with SAL Healthcare about live-in care anywhere in England. We'll answer plainly, assess within 48 hours where we can, and tell you honestly whether live-in care is right for your family.
